I’m a almost 39 year old woman. Sure, that’s not old by many standards, but I feel especially old because I am pregnant with my first child, I’m less than broke, not quite finished my degree and stuck in a job that I started dislike YEARS ago. Why? Because I am an adult who needs health insurance. Good health insurance is even better. I’ve given myself 4 months to pay off everything that isn’t necessary. This includes that 10.00 Ipsy subscription that makes me feel like a kid on Christmas. I’m still thinking about that one. There’s nothing that will make you feel like your shit isn’t together like finding out your gonna be responsible for another human being. What I do know is that I’ve wanted to be a mother for as long as I can remember. And I’m scared to death.
Its almost like doing an interview. It’s something your never prepares to answer. If you are, your making it up. I think this type of question is best answered by someone close to you, otherwise your likely to not tell the truth…..but let’s give it a go.
1. 38 yr old female
2. Wildly sarcastic
3. I’m in it for the long haul, as in relationships, where I work and my daily routines.
4. I find change scary
5. I be 39 when I have my first child
6. I’m terrible with money. I’m not sure if it’s because I don’t make enough to actually have a savings, or I like to spend…..oddly enough, there’s not much to show as far as what I would be spending money on which makes me lean towards the first.
7. Having a baby terrifies me. I love kids, always wanted my own, but being pregnant takes it to a whole new level.
Maybe I wasn’t supposed to list things. Maybe you were looking for words that describe me? Sarcastic. Funny. Reliable. Consistent. Self conscience. I have a select group of people that I really consider friends. I actually love my siblings and parents. And I’m the master of nap time.
